Permablitz your backyard

Kickstart your food garden, or improve what you've got

What is a Permablitz?

A group of people get together and help design and create each other's gardens. There is some education and design at first and then a bunch of working bees to put the plans into action.

Who is Permablitz for?

  • For those of you who have thought about having a food garden but never quite got round to it, or don't know where to start.

  • People who have an established food garden and would like to extend and improve it, reducing their workload and producing more.

How does it work?

Get together with others and:

1

learn how to design your garden to keep the workload down and the production up, using permaculture principles.

2

in small groups, design a growing system for your property

3

put your plans into action with help from your course buddies

Join us on Sunday 2 November 2014 in Carterton
